CNets spin-off company CheckWatt delivers the EMS – Energy Management System to Sweden’s largest charging and battery park and which is now built in Malmö. The EMS provides control, operational monitoring and visualization for energy-related data also providing smart control for hybrid inverters of photovoltaic systems to charge batteries and perform frequency regulation to enable connection to the electrical network. Additionally to charging stations for cars and trucks, a solar power installation on 1.5 hectares of nearby land is included. In order for the plant to reach its full economic potential, the flexibility of all the different resources is integrated within Checkwatt’s virtual power plant Currently.
